School of Health Careers' Student Services has information to help you through your allied health training program. From start to finish, School of Health Careers' Student Services can help make your experience as rewarding as possible. We offer academic advising, crisis intervention and orientation of new students.

Academic Advising

The education department offers tutoring and extra help sessions on a daily basis to any student requiring assistance. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with School of Health Careers' Student Services to work on any specific areas needing improvement.

Crisis Intervention

Occasionally, students encounter personal problems unrelated to their pursuits of new careers. Should this occur, School of Health Careers' Student Services staff members can provide referrals to various agencies and support groups to assist with these problems.

Orientation of New Students

Orientation sessions are provided prior to each new class session to transition new students to the academic and general school environment. All students will have the opportunity to meet School of Health Careers' Student Services faculty and support staff who provide assistance during the student's full tenure at our institution. Students will also become familiar with the school facilities, academic policies and school regulations.
